Hi, my name is Mike Ott and I’m a sculptor in a very unusual medium. My work is confined to the inside of a bottle, hence the name: bottle art. Bottle art is unique; and work like mine is not found anywhere else on the Web. There are perhaps a few dozen artisans who work in the old mariner art form of Ship-in-the bottle sculpture, but none work in the medium you are about to see.

All of my art is crafted the same as those old mariners in that “the work goes in the way the wine came out”. The bottles are not cut, drilled or, as one inventive critic suggested, formed around the work. I will not tell you how it is done, so please don’t ask; besides a little mystery fits nicely with my company’s name: BottleMagic.

Since all of my work is handmade, no two pieces are the same and are therefore priced accordingly….look at it this way; my art requires very little maintenance. It is sealed in its own pristine vessel that only requires the occasional swipe with a Windex’ed cloth.
